  The whale watching component of the tour actually rates between 4 and 5. It was very good. The reason for rating 3 out of 5 overall was because we had the VIP captains lounge package...and really received no benefit for the additional cost. It advertises COMPLIMENTARY REFRESHMENTS AND SNACKS ??!! ...maybe it was because we were outside watching for whales the whole time (our idea of what we were primarily there for), yet at no time during the trip, did any of the crew advise snacks were ‘now’ available, or query if we would like any of our complimentary INCLUDED snacks. So definitely go, but unless you just want to sit inside a private area, don’t pay the extra.

  Beautiful brand new boat very comfortable and plenty of room to move around All the staff skipper who was very entertaining a marine biologist who knew evertying about the whales their habits was just amazing Add to that seeing the Golld Coast shoreline from the ocean was breathtaking Complete experience and a must do next time your visiting Gold Coast They also offer canal cruising evening cruise was fantastic

  Gorgeous boat !! Staff were so helpful and friendly Were saw whales breaching and dolphins!! Must do!!!

  We have lived on the Gold Coast for 15 years and never been , took kids and partners and had a great experience, crew were excellent, day was perfect and we were fortunate enough for whales to put on a show for us that just got better and better , beautiful animals, thank you guys , keep up your great work

  What a great day, perfect weather roomy boat and friendly staff. The captain insured we saw whales and clearly new his stuff. The best part by far was seeing a calf and mother together. No breaches but still a great day.

  Seeing the whales I have waited 5 years to do this the staff where amazing and the captain was very amusing we all had a truely amazing day The only thing I would say is that if you have to cancel times give the people more time

  Sea world Cruise- Accessibile Whalewatching Accessibile Whalewatching, Wow! What a fabulous day to be out on the ocean looking for whales. Definitely recommend this for anyone!! Staff friendly and accommodating, sheltered inside so not too cold. Recent modifications by Seaworld Cruises, made it possible to use my power wheelchair and sit on board next to a big view window, and disabled toilets on board. I can tell you it was a fantastic view. The captain did a great job of maneuvering the boat, so the whales would be on my side. I have some good tail splashing shots taken through the window. Normally I can only do this land based, at Point Lookout on North Stradbroke Island.

  This was a brilliant cruise, a great boat with lots of room for everyone, friendly crew and we were really lucky with whale activity. We saw numerous breaches (we thought this was just on the ads!) and quite a few groups of whales including am active mother and calf which was amazing. We also enjoyed the commentary and how engaging the captain and entire crew were. This was a last minute decision and we're so happy that we decided to go. A really well run cruise.

  Great staff, great boat the Spirit of Migaloo II. We saw several whales pretty quickly on our trip August 27. We saw one whale breach multiple times, as well as tail flip and just coast above the water. I didn't know they liked to 'stick around' an area of the coast for a few days to find a mate or feed! We also saw a pod of about 5-7 whales all going after a female. Would really recommend this tour!

  You can tell everything is quality, and protecting and monitoring the whales is so much more important than entertainment. All the staff are genuinely happy to be here, and willingly share their experiences of their time with the company. The captain Dan was friendly & informative, Laura was knowledgeable and didn’t just give a spiel, she also answered questions with a much wider knowledge base than simply whales in the Gold Coast area. Helpful fact, I found some USB plugs at my seat, I definitely could’ve used them when I used so much battery filming & photographing.
