  Had a fantastic day! Our Tour guide Peter was an absolute gem! Such a gentleman. Exceeded our expectations. Incredible views all day. So pleased we did this. Would do this again in a heartbeat! The plane ride was so smooth.

  How to pick highlights from an amazing day!?! Flight in a Cessna to Katherine, then the stunning Gorge boat tour, a helicopter flight over the Gorge, lunch and the Cultural centre and flight back to Darwin. Firstly ,I am an anxious flyer ( it is not on my list of enjoyable activities) but my husband loves it. Pilot James made sure that I was comfortable and informed the whole trip(1 1/2 hrs to Katherine) and the breath taking scenery really did take my mind off the fact that I was in a small plane. James was also an excellent tour guide letting us know about the natural and human history of the land that we were flying over. Once in Katherine, we were driven out to the Nitmiluk Gorge Cruise, how awesome was this. Professionally run, great guide. We had perfect weather as well, sunny warm not too hot. Stop off for optional helicopter flight over gorge, (the view is magnificant - but was a bit bumpy with winds) Great lunch (gf catered for) at local cafe (supplied in tour) then to Cultural centre. then back to the airport for flight home (1hr) . The views over Darwin and the harbour are wonderful. Such an amazing day and we were looked after very well.. even done to cold towels and water in plane on the flight back. Take your camera - but dont forget just to enjoy the day. Travel light , Take a snack for on the flight down to settle tummy. Go to the toilet before leaving it is an 1 1/2 hour flight. ENJOY

  Great guide in Callum who gave interesting and informative commentary. Good safe driving. Very enjoyable day. Thoroughly recommend.

  This was the second trip with Kakadu Air and again we were not disappointed. Today our Pilot was Peter and he was every bit as good as Dave our Pilot on the previous Tour. This time as Peter was flying over some of the same ground we had previously covered he made sure to check where we had already flown and varied the route to suit so we saw different things on the kakadu part of the flight. Peter landed just as smoothly at Tindale Base and drove us to the Katherine gorge Cruise Boat where he left us in capable hands. The Tour up the Gorge took in the First and Second gorges changing boats along the way, we had an excellent and informative commentary, good photo shots and again enjoyed our day. After the cruise Peter again picked us up and yook us t lunch before we flew back to Darwin. Another great day out with Kakadu Air.

  Met with Peter at the airport at 7am, couldn’t of asked for a better pilot. Very knowledgeable good all round bloke. Saw some awesome sites from the air.. Thank Kakadu air and a big thank you to pete the pilot. We will never forget the experience and will be back some day to experience it all again in the wet season.

  Spectacular tour!! Our pilot/guide - David, was extremely knowledgeable, down to earth and ensured we got as much out of the tour as possible. Highly recommend this tour.

  This trip was Amazing and perfect for us who were short on time but wanted to experience Katherine. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable, organised and super chill to be around making the day more enjoyable. Loved the views from the plane, you can’t get that from the ground obviously. Now we have a taste, we want to come back for more adventures in the Katherine and experience more gorges and probably kayaking. Next time, taking the kids. We definitely felt we got value for our money. The best part was, no one else had booked in the day we went so it practically was a private tour for my husband and I.

  David was excellent pilot and travel guide. We had a great day and loved the scenery. The Katherine Gorge was majestic and well worth the trip.
