Orford Riverside Cottage is a spacious modern cottage beside the peaceful Prosser River on Tasmania’s east coast.
The cottage is fully self-contained with two large decks overlooking the picturesque river and a private picnic area. It features a king size bed downstairs and a queen and two singles upstairs. There is a large spa bath, two bathrooms and a separate toilet.
Located on the River with private water frontage it is only a five minute walk from the beach and dining options.An old disused convict road is located behind the cottage and offers an interesting walk along the river through peaceful bush. Watch out for native wildlife, especially in the evenings.
Orford is the perfect getaway with quiet beaches, a surf beach, fishing, golf, bowls, cafes and shops. The nearby Wielangta Rainforest Reserve offers a wonderful picnic opportunity and the Maria Island Ferry terminal is close by.
